“I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
(Genesis 1:29)
Most clients come to me because they struggle with their nutrition & herbs intake. People eat about three times per day. Therefore, the time that we spend cooking or filling our bodies with energy is huge. There is much to learn and teach about today’s food system, the way we produce our nutrients and the way we prepare our food. However, it is often only the symptom that indicates a deeper problem.
Confusion about our food easily disturbs our relationship with it. We may simply not like to eat, drink, or taste certain foods. Also, food is a “friend” that we count on during hard times, challenging trials, joys and celebrations, when rewarding yourself, etc. Most “problems” with food stem from one of the other areas of holistic-health. In my experience, up to 98% of my clients who struggle with eating-related disorders or trials with food need to look way past their plate and dig a little deeper.
Nutrition:
Nutrition & Herbs encompasses all that can be taught about nutrition. From where to shop for the best produce, to how to choose it and how to prepare it. Which spices and herbs to use, also for medicinal purposes, how to grow it – if you wish to do so. Through this education of food, you will truly learn how to sustainably feed and heal yourself. There is no short diet, no repetition. Furthermore, we create a habitual lifestyle change that enables you to learn more about your body that you ever thought you would.
Herbs:
The world of herbs opens our eyes to medicinal ways that our ancestors were still very accustomed to. It’s a knowledge that seems lost in much of our modern world. Yet, it sees a revival in recent years, as people try to take more responsibility of their own health again.
